On Level 2, which is one floor above street level, at the eastern (river) side of the complex. Self-service and payment when ordering.


For those occasions where the summer weather means heading for somewhere with air con, or winter weather means finding somewhere dry, and still with the option of using the outside terrace, a quiosque inside one of the city’s largest and busiest shopping centres.

It’s also a good example of a coffee stop and pastelaria inside a large commercial centre not being expensive: a Galão and two Pastéis de Nata, at September 2026 prices, came out at just under €4.

At these prices, you’re not going to get waited on, but the self-service and pre-payment is not difficult to understand and navigate. Card payment is accepted, even for small amounts. Service is prompt; you use the shared seating in that part of Level 2.

The coffee is good, and the pastéis de nata better than might be expected from a quiosque. The cakes and other pastries are also good; the plain croissant is recommendable.

Buses, Trains (suburban and long distance), Metro (Linha Vermelho) and coaches, all across the road at Gare do Oriente.

At the top of Rua Angelina Vidal, so it qualifies as being in Graça, although that area is more usually known as Sapadores, the part of Graça where full-sized buses pass through, not just minibuses and trams. When the weather is warm and dry enough, the terrace comes into its own, with views down Rua Angelina Vidal. You can watch the trams, often carrying a crush load, while enjoying eats and drinks. 4.7.5 Cacilhas and Cristo Rei

Across the river from Cais do Sodré, via the shortest ferry crossing in town, Cacilhas is a ferry terminal, part of the city of Almada, with a tram and bus station next to the ferry berth. There are cafés and restaurants just back from the waterfront, plus a small maritime museum which houses the sailing ship Dom Fernando II e Glória, and submarine S164 (these are pay attractions). But the main attraction for those making the ferry trip over from Cais do Sodré is to visit Santuário de Cristo Rei (Sanctuary of Christ the King), located on a nearby hilltop. View from the terrace This is outside Zone L, so best bet for those using public transport is to get a separate cardboard Navegante ticket, load it with credit, and use it in Zapping mode. Rua Tomás da Anunciação 88B Location HERE . Open: Monday to Thursday 1500-2300; Friday and Saturday 1600-Midnight; closed Sundays. It’s up in Campo de Ourique! In the grid pattern of streets north of the tram route, an area with a seriously high incidence of the Smart fortwo, is Lisbon’s smallest craft beer outlet. Less inside space than AMO, and indeed less inside space than the Pravda Craft Mission outlet in Marvila. Some tables outside. So what’s on offer? Five taps with a regularly changing offering, backed up by lots of bottles and cans. Always an IPA on the go. And what about food? Indeed, what about food. There is a pizza and calzone menu on offer, but it does not come from this bar. You place an order, it is phoned through, and then it is collected from a nearby restaurant and delivered to your table. The cost is added to your bill. Seems to work OK.
