Small museum dedicated (mainly) to the work of caricaturist and ceramicist Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro. Cabbage plates, flocks of birds, an overlarge snail clinging to the side of the building, and engaging enough to not need the English translation. The upstairs display of comics, showing how caricatures of politicians and other figures are used to build up strips, is a must view.


After visiting, try the Jardim Bordallo Pinheiro (not sure why this uses a different spelling), which is across the other side of Campo Grande, accessed through the Museu de Lisboa. This will be covered in Green Spaces.

The craft beer revolution began to wash over Lisbon around a decade ago. Some outlets have, in the meantime, come and gone, but the scene is a good one for locals and visitors alike.
